Sorry to have an off-topic comment, but the comments box on the “Missing Links” post isn’t working. You can keep the archives–just build a redirect page to the appropriate URL for each one. I did this when I moved from Grey Matter to Moveable Type, so the old permalinks still work.
Assuming they’re in order, you should be able to do this with a script (I wrote a little perl script to generate all the pages).
Funny…on editing the entry, I found that comments were toggled “Closed”. No idea how that could have happened, while still keeping the Comment link active in the post.
