It seems the financial troubles at the Alabama Space and Rocket Center may eventually cost it its Saturn V.
Not that I would mind that much myself, IF it meant the thing was refurbished and placed in a museum a la the one at KSC. Same with the one at JSC and the SI-C at Michoud — it’s a shame that these things were built and never flown, but it’s an even bigger shame to let them corrode away as lawn ornaments.
I should post a photo of the Michoud booster — its current state (completely covered in what looks like some sort of blood-red mildew) is appalling.
