Tomorrow is the 100th anniversary of the first powered flight. And as folks have been saying for several months now, it would be the perfect symbolic date for something big to happen. All the talk of late has been about whether that something should be a policy announcement naming one new destination or another (or a whole bunch) as NASA’s new focus, but Clark Lindsay is reporting a rumor of something else entirely.
Since one of these options does not depend on NASA, or the government generally, maybe something big will actually happen tomorrow, after all.
