Heh – Curiosity is barely down (what, two minutes?) and they already have images coming in.
The images are dust-obscured because the dust kicked up by the landing is still swirling around.
That’s impressive.

The Tech Museum in San Jose had a screen running a loop of the touchdown, jubilation in the control room, and the first images coming through. Pretty cool.

I was going to attend the party at the science museum here in Denver, but I put off ordering my ticket a couple of hours too long.
